GRAPHID
Group of Analysis and Research in Hydrology and Disasters
GRAPHID (Group of Analysis and Research in Hydrology and Disasters) is the hydrology research group at Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), based in Niterói (RJ), Brazil. The group works on hydrological processes, hydro-sedimentological connectivity, disasters, and modeling applied to watersheds.
Within UFF, GRAPHID conducts research aimed at understanding hydrological dynamics and extreme events associated with disasters. Activities include hydrological monitoring, hydro-sedimentological process modeling, connectivity analysis in watersheds, and their interactions with society.
The group brings together professors, postdoctoral researchers, PhD and master’s students, as well as undergraduate students, fostering academic training and scientific production in Hydrology at UFF. We maintain partnerships with national and international institutions, contributing to scientific progress and to risk mitigation and climate change adaptation in Brazil.
