The work investigates sediment transport pathways associated with mass movements triggered by intense rainfall in Angra dos Reis (RJ) in 2023. Structural connectivity was assessed with the Connectivity Index (IC), and structural-functional connectivity with the Hydro-sedimentological Connectivity Index (IHC), comparing scars connected and disconnected from the channel network through statistical tests (normality and Mann-Whitney U). Results indicate a significant difference between connected and disconnected scars, with IHC showing larger effect sizes than IC, reinforcing the usefulness of connectivity indices for hazard mapping and for understanding sediment delivery dynamics.
